Hello all.
This thread is built to discuss two important things.
1) Low Hanging Fruit that the sPvP Developers can rapidly add on a whim.
2) Game concepts to help change the way certain sPvP specific things are played.
In regards to Low Hanging Fruit. The sPvP developers cannot change things like:
-UI Related tasks.
-Balance changes (other than bugs on a skill relevant to a PvP Map or objective).
-Art direction / Items.
Please keep your requests reasonable. Lofty goals will generally go unnoticed by the development staff simply because they are lofty goals.
Keep your explanation short and simple.
1) Low Hanging Fruit
Example of something they can (most likely) fix:
-Trident Token cost being 6 honor.
-Rocks in Spirit Watch (Blue Side, due north of the exit, up the ramp), these can be easily traversed by an orb carrier to bypass the bridges. Red Side does not have an equivalent bypass.
2) Game Concepts:
-All of the below requested are already implemented in-game one way or another. It’s simply a matter of re purposing them.
-Game timer at the top of each map. Set a team to defend and a team to attack.
The attacking team gets 30 seconds to begin capturing a point (the points bar moves).
If the bar moves, their timer is reset to 30 seconds.
-Defending team must keep enemies off a point for 30 seconds. Once that’s been accomplished they can go on the ‘attack’.
-Defending team cannot capture enemy points.
