sPvP should give rewards for WvW and PvE
I’m getting mixed signals here.
You say the main downside is no progress. How exactly would being rewarded with usable PvE items be considered “progress”?
You’re just mopey because the current rewards don’t suit you.
It’s like winning the county-fair and then telling the judge that a Blue-Ribbon doesn’t suit you. You want a Red-Ribbon instead.

spvp is a different game. not related to wvw and pve .
I agree spvp cant and shouldnt get progress from pve, wvw, and spvp. But why cant pve and wvw get progress from spvp? Thats what i mean be a lack of progress. Right now, spvp gives no progress at all, but it could at least give progress outside of spvp.
Stating that they are seperate games is not an answer, because that’s the problem. they dont have to be seperate games entirely, sPvP matches just have to be even.
I have to say that I’ve got a lot of friends that will not sPvP because it doesn’t level their characters. That will probably change once they reach 80, but right now that a big hold out for some people.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
What you are asking for is not more “progress”.
You’re asking for more “demographic appeal”.
In this context, that is to say, rewards that attract WvW and PvE fans as much as sPvP fans.

if someone doesnt sPVP because it doesnt “lvl up your character”
means they dont really like PvP, they just like to stomp lowbies and less geared people or Zerg to win (WvW)!!
s/tPvP and PvE/WvW are sparated and should stay that way.

The main question here is “Why should sPvP affect WvW and PvE?”.
GW2 is about visual rewards, if you achieve something in WvW or PvE you don’t get better stats, you get different designs. So, anything achieved in WvW or PvE should stay there while everything you get from s/tPvP should also be restricted to that part of the game. If you want to look a certain way in the PvE/WvW world you should actually have to play in it.

You do realize you can get free high capacity bags from pvping without having to spend your in game coin on them right? That is technically a reward and not only that but you can test your worth against the people in tournys and eventually earn gems which will also contribute you pve and wvw for you. There are clear benefits to playing spvp you just have to give it a fair chance and not expect it to give you everything for no effort.
