i have reached the point where i completely hate them. and the fact i need them so much just adds fuel to the fire.

first of all, they only go up to 25, so if you want more than 25 kits, well clear some slots in your bag, mister! so if you can’t read between the lines, my first suggestion would be to increase the stack to, say, 100.

secondly, the price! oh god the price!! im level 64 and i have never reached a point where i have more than 1.5 gold.. EVER! i still haven’t bought the skill book that costs 2g.
why do i complain about my lack of money? well because salvaging kits cost A LOT of money.. A LOT!! i only buy one master kit for the one with the big upgrades that i want and the rest i buy the blue ones that cost like 2 silver. now take a kit that costs like 15 silver and add the fact you need more than one if you want more than 25 (which is a low number, lets be frank.) and you get something around a gold dedicated for salvaging kits. so i DEMAND that you lower your prices.. or give me money…

the only solution i can see atm is making that super duper salvaging kit in the mystic forge but it costs a bit… or a lot. didn’t rlly check.

Meh, I made the 250 kit last night. Cost me 68 silver for the 250 gems and about another 24 for the kits. Which is still way cheaper than buying the 25 use kits multiple times to equal 250 uses. This may change in the future depending on the gem to gold market. I was short on karma at the time or I would have just used that to buy the kits from the Master Weapon-smith vendor/teacher in Lion’s Arch. Though, I only use the good kit for high end items or if I want to keep using the same materials for crafting. Any other non-rare+ items are vendor-ed and I use the crude kit on scraps. I seem to make a lot more money that way.
Those are the tips I have come across concerning kit usage. That said, I am mystified by why we can’t stack kits and gathering tools to 250 like most other stack-able items. Seems like it shouldn’t matter if we want to buy a lot of tools at once. We still pay the same price whether bought in one trip or multiple trips.
