Guild Wars 2

I would like to be able to separate my items in my bank.

example: I have 45 slices of toast in the bank and want to give my new toon 5..

How can I do that? or can there be a way to do that? It would be nice for the mystic forge too, or sharing with friends & guild mates.

You can already do this by holding Alt and dragging the stack you wish to split to another slot. A box will then appear asking how many you want to move to the new pile.
