The current mechanics of the game puts ranged classes at a disadvantage at melee range. A strafe backwards option should be added to help certain classes such as lb rangers and scepter elementalists

If I’m not mistaken, can’t you strafe backwards by using “s” + “d” + right mouse button held down?

If I recall, it is pretty slow, and I’d always just dodge roll back instead, but I think the option is there.

You can walk backwards but its very slow. It should be 1 button that is like a backwards jog and lets you attack while strafing back
