We NEED a kill-self command. Tonight alone, I’ve gotten stuck inside 4 different objects in 4 different zones doing different things.
In sPvP, I used the Flashing Blade ability on guardian and ended up stuck inside some staircase. Had to join spectators then re-join my team. Easy fix.
Doing a renown heart in Gendarran Fields, I used the Phase Retreat ability on the Mesmer and ended up stuck inside a rock behind me. Used nearest waypoint but had to run back to finish the renown heart – slightly annoying.
In wPvP, I used Judge’s Intervention (back on Guardian) to close gap between enemy. Again, I ended up teleporting inside a rock the enemy was right next to. Had to leave wPvP and come back. Definitely more annoying.
Switched back to Mesmer; during a story mission, an enemy knocked me back into a wall. This was one of those lvl 72+ missions that take 20-30 minutes and it happened near the end. Made me log off for the night and write this dumb post.
I reported all 4 cases using in-game report bug and took a screenshot to show where it happened. Hopefully they can make rocks, stairs, walls, etc. be solid instead of a hollow shell every teleport ability gets you stuck inside.
But in the meanwhile, for the love of god…. just add a suicide command. I tried searching forums but the search feature isn’t the best or most organized (another suggestion). It returned literally 900+ posts for any combination of “/stuck,” “/resign,” “/kill,” “/forfeit,” or anything similar.
