Guild Wars 2

For old timers like myself who like to use my left hand to move character and mouse to point and click on abilities, there is a problem with the action bar.

When you scroll over “1” ability, windows pop up that take up a large portion of the screen making combat frustrating. I should be able to disable that so my screen isn’t blocked. Not a big deal with elementalist, but it is a huge problem for the thief class and guardian class and perhaps others.

I agree. Some family members — all skill clickers — who are currently back to playing WoW saw me playing GW2 for a few minutes and immediately commented that they didn’t like the way combat looked for two reasons: 1) they couldn’t tell what was going on in the middle of the zerg with all the spell effects from my mesmer, and 2) they didn’t like the tooltips popping up by the mouse pointer rather than on the side of the screen in an unobtrusive place like in WoW.

A year since launch and still no disable tooltip option. That is very disappointing.

I’d love the option to be able to set tooltip positions.
