It is uncomfortable that I have to press the right mouse button all the time in combat to move while fighting.

Would be great if there was an option or a button that toggles a first-person-shooter mode in which you automatically turn with your mouse and aim ground-targeted skills with a crosshair.

For my thief at least I’d say that is the way it is meant to be played, crisp movement with a relaxed right ring finger.

p.s. I know there’s an addon doing this, but it should be incorporated in the game itself.

A few weeks ago I noticed my left hand, the one I use the mouse with, was very sore. It didn’t exactly take a genius to realise it’s because of using a computer (I’m on one all day at work too) but what was a bit of a surprise was that by far the biggest contributor was how much time I spent holding the right mouse button down.

Luckily I was able to set one of my mouse buttons to toggle right click on and off and it’s amazing the difference it’s made. I’m not using a computer less, I’m not playing GW2 less, but my hand only starts to hurt towards the end of exceptionally long play sessions.

The really surprisingly thing is I’m also not using that button as much as I thought I would. It’s very inconvenient not having the cursor because it stops me doing a lot of things, so I only really use it when I’m running long distances or doing something like a jump puzzle, but I still wouldn’t go without it.

The GW2 combat mod can accomplish this, but I think it is technically against the ToS. It would be nice for this function to be built into GW2 though.

Yes, that’s how I feel about it. I love the mod. I’d love to have its functionality available for everybody.
