transmutation stones to crystals

I’d be happy with a 10:1 or even 25:1 conversion rate…anything is better than the stacks of useless Stones clogging up my bank.
I like the idea of it being a mystic forge recipe. Currently trans stones are a useless item. For real useless, not just outgrown.
Even a lvl 10 dagger can be salvaged and is never really useless. There is no use whatsoever for a trans stone to a lvl 80 character.
Agreed. I have a bunch of these and absolutely no use for them. I hate throwing things away.

I agree with this 100%. There are some players who cannot afford to pay real money to buy gems or waste all the gold it takes to exchange just to buy the crystals.

I think if the conversion rate was high enough, people would still buy the level 80 variant. 25:1 or 35:1. Anything higher is just insulting and a blatant attempt to make you purchase things while patronizing you and saying, “Look, we gave you what you asked for . . . kind of.”

Transmutation crystals can be got in game too. I have 9 and all of them came from Black Lion Chests. But I DO support this too! I keep receiving stones from map completion (while my husband receives all the keys, it’s not fair!) and I really don’t know what to do with them!
I mean, if you have a character that you’re wanting to look a certain way under 80, I suppose it’s cool. But right now I’m pushing so hard to 80 on my main (I only picked up the game this month) that I don’t have time to care what he looks like beyond changing dyes. Once I’m 80, I’ll want the style to match the color scheme to match the race/profession to match my playstyle. I’m just not to that point yet, and I would love a way to convert the unused 79 and under tokens.
