The world zones are pretty empty these days, what with all the focus on dungeons and fractals. The main change I’m suggesting is pretty simple. When you get close to an event, it appears on your map. Change this so you can see all events currently occurring within the zone. I assume this is a (relatively) easy change in modifying the distance value which triggers the map appearance (basically setting it infinite)

A little more involved would be to make this a toggle on the map. See All/See Nearby events.

Going further, I’d even suggest lowering the waypoint costs to the nearest uncontested wp to an event (or at least the big ones) while they are occurring, to encourage the usually small zone population to congregate.

And finally, the biggest and most involved, let us have a mode to see events occurring in any PvE zone (sort of select a zone, zoom to it as if you where in the zone). But mainly, I’d just like to see the current zone event notifications on the map be zone wide, all the rest is just icing.

Yea have fun having the entire right side cluttered with events.
They would have to make a separate menu in your hero panel or something where you can see all events going on in a zone.
It’s not easy to implement this correctly, so don’t count on it happening.

I think you’ve mistaken my suggestion. I don’t mean the written notifications on the side of the screen. I’m talking about the map markers for the events. Two different, though related, things.

Plus, see the second suggestion, which is a toggle for this.
