Guild Wars 2

I’m looking for advice on armor skins for my Sylvari Ranger, right now I have all Duelest and am considering the T3 chest piece.

The 2 armour sets I use are:

T3 chest + Legs
T1 Shoulders
T2 Gloves + Boots

and

Duelists top + legs
Emblazoned Shoulders + gloves + boots

The duelists picture is pixely, sorry. Its because it was a very zoomed out screenie to show how kitten far away my pet was (like 5000 range away just sitting there for no clear reason).

Here’s what I’ve ended up in wearing. (Mind you my character used to be a lady with these exact same clothes which also looked good.)

Head: Order of Whispers Hood
Shoulders: T2 Nightshade
Chest: T3 Firstborn
Gloves: T2 Nightshade
Legs: T3 Firstborn
Boots: T3 Firstborn

With the addition of Rox’s Quiver on the back and an Order of Whispers Longbow.

I opted for t3 helm, t2 coat, t1 everything else. My only complaint is that it doesn’t hold certain colors very well. It’s helped to have a skin color similar to what I’m trying to dye to (this is abyss, midnight ice, and midnight sky.)

I made my ranger Sylvari just for this look and haven’t changed since. I do have a couple of other outfits though if you want to see them.

I often wear a rascal coat (transmuted over temple armour). It looks realistic, like something a ranger who’d tracked their prey all the way from the maguma jungle to the northern shiverpeaks would wear.

On top of that I use whispers hood and shoulders, and a mix of cultural for the rest.

Im still debating wether im going to have a norn female or a sylvari female, but here is a nice look that I will have if it will be a sylvari.

Helm: Hidden

Chest: t3
Gloves: t2
Leggings: TA
Boots: TA
Back: Rox quivers
