Hey all! I’m trying to puzzle out a good look for my male sylvari elementalist. I’m planning on doing a full makeover and trying to find some cool-looking armor. Any suggestions for Sylvari hair, skin, pattern, and glow color schemes? How about some neat-looking light armor and dyes to go with it? Thanks!

For the makeover part I honestly cant help you, everyone of has builds our toons a different way so cant give you much help with skin’s hair and patterns as it would be biased (ok i’ll bite, everything besides the mushroom hair).

As for armor Cultural kitten, or T3 all look amazing, there’s also the twilight arbor nightmare gear (Not sure which cultural tear has the cool looking winglike appendages). Cant really help ya with dyes as that also comes down to personal preference, but I find with sylvari it helps to match up with aspects of your skin color/glow.

T2 has the wings, which on a female get in the way of your backpieces but look quite nice on a male.

Dyes with sylvari armor are very interesting. Even monotone colors can look really cool. I plan on finally upgrading my necro to T3 sylvari and giving her mostly black or abyss, and maybe some emerald or white mixed in..

And to be honest you NEED cultural or TA armor to look “right” when being a sylvari. And TA armor also makes you look like maleficient, so cultural is a bit more workable.

You can easily pull off normal clothes looking cool on Sylvari. I’ve seen several that do so.

You don’t NEED to have plant armor for Sylvari, but most of the time it can match, especially if you find a dye that’s nearly your skintone.

While this isn’t male, it might give you some color scheme inspiration. I’m not sure how this outfit would look on male but you can give it a shot.

The set is a mix of magnus eye patch,trickster top + bottom, AC boots, masquarade gloves and Teq staff. The dyes are enamaled jungle (SP?), icing dye and midnight ice.

Indeed, see? ‘normal’ clothes on a Sylvari and it looks good :P.
