I hate how a large part of my armor is simply without color. The colors I chose just fade into gray and break up whatever color scheme I was going for. If I have to have a background color, at least let me choose it.

The background colour should be your skin’s colour.

Well, that’s annoying. That basically means I need to make a new character in order toget my armor looking the way I want it. Not sure it’s worth the effort.

I agree, the background colour doesn’t look right unless you specifically colour your armor to make it look right.
If its going to be the same as your skin colour, get rid of it completely so we can see the glowy bits. (My ranger’s glow is all covered up.)

Indeed, I’d be interested in them incorporating the bioluminescence into the armor much more than them including my skin color for some stupid reason.

The T2 Sylvari Cultural Light armor, well at least the pants for the females and a small bit of the chest armor, does incorporate the Bioluminescence. Sadly, I can’t stand the T2 Cultural armor chest piece, as then I would be staring at those vines/plant wings almost the entire time.
You can see the bioluminescence in a picture of my current armor. That isn’t there because the main leaves are colored Mithril. (That said, I like how Lemonade makes a great Gold substitute for the Winged Light armor.
