Nobody uses the armor besides the helmet, is it ridiculous.

http://www.gw2armorgallery.com/sylvari-heavy.htm#order

The gloves are unpractical and huge, the shoulders ONLY cover one side of your body, they should cover both.

The boots and legs don’t offer enough protection and look silly, however they look nice with the chestplate atleast. However they look trashy with the gloves and shoulders.

Can you please redo the gloves to make them not stretch out so much, it stretches out so far it gets bugged! And can you please make the shoulders cover BOTH sides of your body?

I like the helmet, I like the gauntlets. Everything else is kinda meh.

To me it just seems like a bunch of miss-matched parts. There’s no theme or coordination between the pieces. Would be nice to see a lot more bark-like textures as opposed to leaves, but that’s just my opinion.

I use it and still like it very much on my Guardian. It does look and feel sturdy to me, which I found lacking in the previous Tiers.

Tbh I’ve noticed that appears to be a running theme on sylvari cultural sets

I’m planning on using the whole T3 heavy set on my Guardian. Personally I don’t mind that its not super bulky, and I think the wood aspect makes it seem more sturdy than the T1 / T2 which, though larger, are also made of leaves and petals which are disticintly not sturdy at all.

Except the shoulerpad. Screw single shoulderpads, so dumb. Gonna have to use another heavy cultural (or maybe TA) for that just to get away from the idiotic single shoulderpad nonsense.

Tier 2 Cultural Heavy is pretty awesome. Tier 3 just doesn’t cut it for me. I agree with a previous poster, it just doesn’t look like it all ‘fits’.

I really like my Tier 2 though. Looks great, IMO.

I prefer T2 on males, and T3 on females.

If you don’t like it there are plenty of other heavy options. I only made a Sylvari Warrior because I wanted to make a Samurai character and the T3 chest/pants are light enough to pull off a Samurai look.

I swung a sword. I swung a sword again. I swung a sword again—-hey hey that’s great!

Not really?

There isn’t very much sylvari-ish looking armor.

I said heavy options, not Sylvari-ish options. But if you want to look like an armored tree or whatever, use the gloves/boots from T3, the chest/pants from Twilight Arbor, and the hat/shoulders from T2. There you go, now you’re a big spiky wooden monster. Let me keep my samurai look.

Did you even READ The title of the thread or look at what forums your on?
The TA shoulders are horrible and bulky, I want the T3 Cultural armor ones, HOWEVER they only cover ONE shoulder because of idiotic design.

You complain about the set not offering enough protection or looking heavy enough, but you also complain about the Twilight Arbor shoulders being too heavy? Holy crap make up your mind.

I wish they would give some attention to medium armor. T2 really needs some work, it’s very undetailed like some NPC armor.
