Guild Wars 2

So i decided that im sick of my sylvari wearing human clothes, and i want to buy the cultural clothes. The problem however, is that i cant decide what set to get, its the shirt part of the sets that i dont like so much… I dont like that tentacle tier 2, tier 1 looks good except the shirt is horrible, tier 3 is expensive and not so good looking either,..

Im also considering Twilight Arbor’s set….

some suggestions plz… are there any other Sylvari (plant) clothes?

Try T2 Leg and Feet Armor with your choice of Chest, Hand, Head, and Shoulder Armor. Those parts of the T2 Armor I find easiest to mix with other pieces, while giving a quite certain pure “Sylvari” look.

I tend to think the Leg and Feet from T2 Racial with any Head gear that doesn’t cover the hair can mesh with a number of Light Armors giving “Human clothes” a notable Sylvari feel. Possibly combine it with the T3 Shoulder armor, if you don’t like the look of the T2 “Winglet leaves” you consider tentacles.

One thing that always did seem strange to me, was the length of my Sylvari’s fingers. They seem freakishly long (almost vine-like rather then finger-like). Its what drove me to get the CoF gauntlets to use as cosmetic. Gives the hands more of an appearance of claws then … nightmarishly long fingers from some cosmic horror. (Strangely female only from what I can see.)

My own current cosmetic for my Mesmer Sylvari is posted below. Hopefully standing out from a pure T2 Cultural Sylvari or a Human female.
Armor:
Head: T2 Cultural
Shoulders: T2 Cultural
Chest: Order of Whisper’s Light
Gloves: CoF Light
Pants: T2 Cultural
Feet: T2 Cultural
(Still looking for more fitting Glove armor and a head armor that stands out a bit more.)

I’m going for the TA set on my Mesmer, if you decide to go that route be prepared for running the dungeon about…. twenty times if you only do each path once a day. Good luck on the “each path once a day” part though, since it’s pretty hard to find a group most of the time, and even then you have to hope they know what they’re doing. So far I have my pants and 33 tokens left over, going for the chest next.
