Heavy Armor Glow?
Just be clear, as I am not sure if you are aware of the glow behavior or not, sylvari and their cultural armor only glow during in-game night time hours.
Are you stating that the issue is that it is night time in-game and your character is glowing properly, but that their cultural armor is not?

Yeah luckily it was night time in game so I’m grabbing a couple screen shots before work. The Helm should glow and the pants “jewel” looking spots should glow. In the screen shot you should clearly be able to see the sylvari body glowing but not the armor.
The glow on Sylvari cultural armour seems to break a lot…

It also depends on the dye. If you put a darker hue on a section that has glow, it will appear dimmer. If you use a lighter/bright color it will be brighter.
I found that changing dyes is best during night so that you can see the glow take effect once you “accept” changes.
I also have never really noticed any sort of armor glow one heavy T1 cultural armor. I belive I’m using one if the midnight series for the large portions (a red/maroon hue), white gold, and another gold color. So no super dark colors, but they do have dark spots just from the natural armor fade. I’ll try to post a picture later today as an example. But I’ve never had it glow.
Err.. Heavy T1 has a pretty obvious glow on the “gems” located on the shoulders, boots, gloves and pants for male version. The female set also glows but on the lines located on coat, pants and boots.
It’s actually the most gloving set out of all 3 in my experience…
