Hey guys
I want to ask you, wich do you think are the best Heavy Armor sets in a Sylvari beside the cultural ones? Idk why but T1 and T2 has a small glich with me and T3 in the midle of the chest it’s white color or the color I put it goes lighter (Midnight Ice goes lighter, Frost goes straight white), so I have been full white. I’m not sure if its because the color of my Sylvari is Frost and those affect the color from cultural armors or not, the point is that I’m a bit done with cultural armors.

Arah Armor has also a bug with my Sylvari that my Human doesn’t have with it. This is making me almost consider deleting my Sylvari Guardian to make a Human and with this delete 1000 hours because my character is so kitteng buggy and it annoys the kitten out of me (Also I’m not going to buy new Character slot, because I’m farming to change server now and when I was done for both server change and character slot I can put the Guardian to 80 again)

Do you have suggestions of Heavy Armor combos or other sets that I may not know that might look cool?

Personally, I think Cultural Heavy T3 looks awesome for a Sylvari (specially the helmet)! I just have a Sylvari ranger (medium armor) and elementalist (light armor). But I’m thinking to create a guardian just for the awesomeness of the T3. My advice get that one, or a combo between parts of T1 and T3, better if your Sylvari doens’t look leafish but more like barkish for that kind of armor. Is just my opnion
Btw, I think the color of your Sylvari might affect the color of the armor, but I’m not sure about this, my advice: instead of deleting your character and thus, the hours you expended on it, why not total makeover kit? you can change the things you don’t like in his/her appearance and maybe the T3 would look much better after that

Tried that, not much costumization that I enjoyed
In the midle of the T3 chest, stays white idk why, but now since I know where it is, i can die it white I will still see difference and it kitteng bugs me. With T2 it was a shade on the back while using GS, T1 was a shade on the colar. kitten Sylvari are all bugged

The Sylvari cultural armors do indeed take your skin color and apply it to certain parts of the armor. Its meant to simulate the fact that Sylvari grow their cultural armors from their own body, and as such the body color shows through in certain areas.

Well those are not bugs, those are actually the features of sylvari cultural armor. It is affected by your skin color. If that bothers you that much then try to find dyes that match those shades.

Before I got cultural on my guardian, I had her in Primeval chest and legs with a choice of AC/CM gloves, banded pauldrons, and a variety of helms. Boots .. I think those were Primeval as well. I was able to mix in some cultural too for when she leafed out.

TA dungeon armor is planty as well, if you really want plant-based armor.

Though you can sit in the wardrobe(at bank) and play with the different armors in preview to figure something out.

I struggled finding a look for my Sylvari Guardian as well, and let me tell you: it gets better. I use primarily Twilight Arbor armor, along with the Toxic shoulders and gloves, but I did run entirely TA armor for quite awhile (screens below with and without helmet). I unequipped weapons so they wouldn’t get in the way, but keep in mind that staves especially clip into the legs when you stand still with it out, and some weapons will clip on the back of the chest piece.

Don’t give up on your Sylvari Guardian! Why make another kittening human when you can be a boring human in real life?

I changed my my colour for a bit more “White” and it looks better now. I also change the Air style, to one of the new ones, the short one looks cool. I have helm almost all the times but I also have a Ancestral Outfit so loob better with it, also Underwater.

Also thanks for the tip with Staffs and TA armor, but I don’t use Staff to much. I run SW/F and GS Most time in PvE and sPvP (Medi Guard FTW) and also in WvW Roaming, most of the WvW I do is roaming so. But I’ll use TA for my Zerg Set
