Guild Wars 2

My Sylvari, Zefrost, requires a weapon that matches him. There is no weapon in this game that matches him.

Please enable weapons to be dyed and make them glow for Sylvari.

I wish they would have implemented weapon dyes. It would help with the customization a lot. Glowing dyes don’t seem so far-fetched though—I’d love to see those.

You should have a look at the ghostly weapon skins that you can get from the AC rewards vendor, they might go along with your armour scheme. :)

Oh man, weapon dyes would be so amazing. I have the tier 3 cultural greatsword on my mesmer and… if I could make that blade a translucent purple… and glow… <3

I like the idea though I think it will won´t happen till GW 3 unfortunately. Still one can wish right and maybe… just maybe we would be given that opportunity.

Why don’t you post this in the suggestions forum? I think it is a very good idea.

There actually are weapons that DO GLOW.
Ascalonian weapons are among the cheapest, then there are other, obtainable with karma or by mystic forge (not necessarily legendaries).
(However glows’ color cannot be changed and it’s default, like “light blue” for ascalonian set and “white” for others and so on)
Anyway I don’t see how dying weapons could be such a problem in the future, I think it shouldn’t take more than a year or two before being implemented.
