Pale Tree- only Sylvari and Sylvan hounds?
The asura theorize that the sylvari are humanoid in form because the pale tree was planted on a human grave sight. if this is true then there may also have been beloved family dogs buried with them since we only see fern hounds.
The Pale tree probably limited it to just them two because of trying to be “good”. Once the Elder Dragon that created it (my current theory) wakes up, there will be several more sylvari creatures. The current Dragons create there minions from living or dead (depending on the dragon) creatures. There are a few dragon minions that seems to have been created on there own with out needing a creature to make it. Thats probably what the sylvari are, the basic minions the dragons create on there own that are used to go out and collect creatures to make new types of minions.
The Pale Tree probably has the ability to infect living creatures and turn them into a fern creature of some sort, but doesnt due to the teachings.
The Nightmare court seems to be trying to recreate this processed on there own. They have several Nightmare creatures under there control but they dont appear changed, only enslaved. They have managed to create some plant based creatures on there own how ever.
Also, Malyck is humanoid despite coming from a different tree.
True, I understand the dead skeleton and the pale tree being buried over the graves,
but you would think there would be lots of other skeletons. The pale tree isn’t exactly small either, so it would have a root system with a pretty big range as well.

With that, there could be deer, moa, drakes, fireflies, panthers and spiders under it too. So why didn’t the Pale Tree re-create them as plants? I think they might be Dragon Minions, simply based on that.It would make for an interesting turn of events. Many races are wary of them because of their curious nature, so would that make some distrust them? It’s not impossible.

Im a bit more interested about how there can be Sylvan Hound pups, but no sylvari children…
The “pups” are dropped earlier then grow to full size but Sylvari are dropped at full size. Possibly due to needing to spend more time in the dream becasue a “Person” needs more information to get by.
