Guild Wars 2

Just wondering, does anyone know what they actually look like? I was considering getting one for a while, but since the previews don’t show anything, I am not willing to spend the 63k karma on a mystery item.

Does anyone have one they could post a screenshot of? I’m mostly considering greatsword, sword, or staff. Barring that, I’ve had no luck doing searches online for pictures of it, but if someone knows where I could find it a link to it would be nice. Every picture I’ve found has been a picture of the preview, which shows nothing but the hilt.

I was wondering the same. We get the same issue with the T2 cultural weapons for Sylvari but I’ve seen their models on NPC’s. Would be great for the previews to be fixed or to see what the Warden item models are actually like.

He was asking for screenshots with the blades/blue glass effects that you don’t get in the previews.

Here is the greatsword another user posted last week, don’t have any more sorry.

Oh yeah, I see people running around with those but never bothered to check where to get them. Hmm, I’m in WvW all the time and obtaining/spending a bunch of karma on one of those wouldn’t be so bad, however if I buy I’m going to buy a staff…if you don’t mind me posting one xD

You’re probably just seeing people with T2 weapons, they have different blades and hilts, almost no one is buying T3 Sylvari weapons for a bunch of reason (expensive/no way to preview them/no screenshots online etc).

But anyway if you get a T3 staff it would be nice to see.

Ok I didn’t orginally get what the OP was saying, but now I do. Apparently I didn’t realize that the second part of the graphic skin wasn’t showing in previews. Here’s the graphic of the T3 staff, it has a blue glass like orb graphic. Im assuming you’ll see the same blue glassy effect on the other weapons.

Nice, thanks to the two people who posted images of Greatsword and Staff. They look pretty nice. Not sure if it’s worth all the karma, but it’s nice to be able to see it to keep my options open.

It’s a shame these weapons aren’t exotics.

they probably aren’t exotics because Anet expected them to be similar to the cultural armors. For skins only.

Is there any other way of obtaining these skins? I thought I saw a greatsword on the trading post with the same icon, though I didn’t dare spend 5g+ on something that may or may not be what I’m looking for.

The T2 skins are on some high-level ‘verdant’ weapons you can buy/find, some karma merchants might also sell them; T1 is low-level ‘glyphic’ things, but I doubt T3 would be available in the world.

The sword looks cooler than the other two~ Just my opinion of course, but i like it more than the staff and greatsword… I find a lot of the staves to be lacking in design though, but that may be just me.

I just wish they’d make the one-handed and off-hand weapons cheaper, because spending 63k karma for each one is pretty steep.

Have you seen the legendary staff? Quite underwhelming, I still think it looks decent but it definitely doesn’t have the wow factor like the great swords.

Ah well, looks like it’s time to start saving up some karma then, for when my guardian is lvl80.

Agree however in the TA dgn, there is a staff made of plants and it looks awesome.

Also I want to say, PLZ someone show how the t3 focus looks. I really want to know if it worth getting(I will be getting the t3 sword)
