So how come you can’t preview how the glow look when you make your sylvari? Am I the only one who find that extremly annoying?

Toggle the lighting off in character creation and you can see it.

During Character Creation, there’s a small lightbulb button next to the zoom and view armor buttons. When you click it, it shows you what your character looks like in the dark.

It also helps to toggle your armor off (which is the button next to it) so you can see their full body because the pattern you choose affects which areas glow.
