Hey,

So i like to “walk” places. And i noticed the walking animation can be different depending on whether or not you have your weapon drawn.

Just wanted to ask around the community to see if anyone was bothered by the Male Sylvari Walk when you DO have a weapon drawn.

I think it just looks wrong with a greatsword… seems a little crooked if you catch my drift.

Anyone else notice this?

I think walking might be universal for each gender, but I’ve definitely noticed a hunch on my male Sylvari none of my female characters (human, Norn, Sylvari) have with drawn weapons, and it does make carrying a greatsword or staff look weirdly off-balance—although I’ve always thought it was weird to carry staffs around at our sides like that instead of using them as walking sticks when, you know, walking. :|a

i have tested all races male and female to look at the walking animations after seeing that my sylvari when carrying a greatsword looks a little off. all the rest of the races male or female have the same greatsword walking animation(with slight changes due to race(size)). but the sylvari male is the only one that seams to be different for some reason.
after looking in to this i have found thakittens the exact same walking animation as when u carry a 1 hand weapon.

thus i would say that the sylvari male does not have the greatsword walking animation due to bug or something unintentional from arena net……….or maybe arena net just does not like male sylvari :P

I guess it was meant to be “thakittens” but you’ve forgotten the space so it became “thati*_ts” (without the signs)
