Sylvari T2 Light Cultural Armor - Color Problem
Sylvari Cultural armour is meant to have been grown by your Sylvari. Therefor, it’s ‘roots’ are coloured like your Sylvari is coloured.
Granted, the colouring is still a little off. My Sylvari is ‘tea’ coloured, but the armour roots are more of a ‘Viridian’. Probably because the shading is lacking in these parts.
Well as you can see the my sylvari has a black burned bark skin – no trace of brown or green. I guess this is just a miscolouring that the developers have omitted.
Huh, that is odd! I do see what you are pointing out there, such a shame considering the cost of the cultural gear. When I previewed that set on my Sylvari, I didn’t have any color issues, though now I see that was probably because my Sylvari is brown and I use green and pinky-brown dye.
as has been stated before, they’re there on purpose. A similar thing is in the T3 Sylvari Medium male armor.
The best suggestion for you I can give is to play around with colors. There are some hues of colors that blend well with the “brown” Try something like a deep red perhaps.

As I checked the whole thing on my different sylvari character the base color is actually same as your sking, which is in my case charcoal. The chest also has parts (vine like) that grow from your skin and their color cannot be changed, however, these do not ruin the whole colouring. What is off is in fact the red lining on the pants – In my opinion its unnecessary and forces you to unclude that color in you dying – I for example cannot dye it in midnight ice (which would go well with my hair) because that red lining sticks out like blood on piece of white paper…

I’m not sure how the T2 armor dyes, but can you have multiple colors on the pants?
Perhaps instead of going for straight Midnight Ice, perhaps use Midnight Fire for areas around the red, and then Midnight ice for areas farther?

Is it just my computer or this set’s gloves have missing textures? all i see is a tiny spike on the left hand! Is this intended by the devs?
Yep – the T2 light gloves are supposed to “look” like this – just a tiny fin-like thingy. That is why I mixed T2 chest and pants with T1 gloves and boots – looks way better IMO.
So far, I have had no issues at all with coloring on my T2 light armor, other than I can’t find a dye that is the same shade of green the T2 cultural weapon handles are.
