So I delete and re-make alts constantly. One of my favorite races is the Sylvari. I’ve noticed that sometimes when I make a Sylvari their underwear can be one of two colors. It will either come out as white, or green. I’m wondering if this is glitched or intentional. I prefer the all white one, but the green one seems to be very common. Here are some screenshots to illustrate what I’m talking about. The first two pictures show the common green underwear. The third picture shows the all white underwear.

It seems to be completely random. I’ve made white/black/blue/pink/red/yellow/green sylvari and sometimes they come out with white undies and sometimes green undies.

Could it have to do with glow? Just a theory.

Actually, it doesn’t. I just figured out what happens. When you come out of the dream for the very first time, your underwear is white. When you go talk to the Warden Requistioner to get your clothes, your underwear from then on is green.

Just made a new toon. First 2 pictures are before I equip clothes for the first time. Last 2 pictures are after I equip clothes.

I’m really hoping this is a bug because I greatly prefer the white leaves.

I actually prefer the green ones and I think that’s how it’s supposed to be. How often is your character with no clothes anyway?

That’s the 200 gold question, isn’t it? The only time I strip off is for the dolphin swim in the Aquatic Ruins Fractal.

Only when I’m diving off the high dives in goggles. Which I do sometimes because I find it fun. That and in fractals for the dolphin swim, and CoF path 1 when we need to carry the lava rock to the other side (if there’s no mesmer).

On a more serious note, not that often. I just think the green leaves are ugly is all.

Wow I never noticed that. I’d prefer the color to match my hair color though.
So the carpet would match the drapes, y’know? ;s

Huh… My Sylvari (who has a brown “skin” tone with green highlights, deep green hair, and a rich blue glow) has white underwear. Maybe it’s random? Or it changes depending on your skin colour?

My sylvari has always had white underwear. She has a blue complexion. I never realized the underwear can be different colors until I saw this post. Well, I’m glad she has white instead of green.
