Guild Wars 2

Hey all,
I really felt like making another sylvari the other day, and so I’ve decided that’s what I’m gonna do. The trouble is, I can’t really think of a good username…

To give you something to go off of, I’m going to make a male elementalist, probably blue or green, with that hairstyle that has the reeds in it.

I want it to be a fairly comical or sarcastic name. Some of my previous usernames I’ve made have been Tallest Person Ever (Asura) and traburne (sylvari guardian).

Any ideas?

I try to do lore appropriate names myself (or at least names that sound lore appropriate even if there are hidden puns), but I imagine you could find something on this site of gaelic names for plants that would tickle your funnybone. I named a ‘vari thief Cularainne from it, a variant on the word for cucumber. She’s getting deleted some time due to my deciding not to level another thief but for now that particular name’s taken, sorry.

Thank you so much for that list! I found some pretty awesome ones, like the scientific name for reed grass: Arundo phragmites.

Sylvari names also seem to be inspired by Gaelic or Welsh sources, so look up some name lists for other ideas.
