Just recently i have discovered emotes…..ikr. Anyways i tryee out the /dance command and i laughed my head of! It is so riduculus, is it a dance anet made or is it real!! If its real tell me what its called….riduculus

I think the choice of Asian Indian-flavour is perfect for the Sylvari. My Sylvari Mesmer looks so cute doing it, especially with the little grunts and noises she makes, she sounds like she’s really enjoying herself

My sylvari dances silently.

at least the bollywood dancers have a flow. the ingame dance seems out of sync with the moves themselves. it looks like the rhythm keeps changing.

Nah, I wouldn’t say that, maybe sligthly out of rythm, but it looks great, at least my Female Sylvari does + I love how she’s smiling while dancing, just super cute.
But gotta admit it looks kinda awkward on Male Sylvari.

I don’t mind it but it seems a little bit out of place with the sylvari. Would have liked something a little different but hey I can live with it.

I thought dancing was supposed to be fun/funny. I kinda hope they don’t redo them. When I saw my little Sylvari dancing it made me smile because it was so ridiculous. But all the dances I saw were silly. Isn’t that the point? Comic relief to an extent?

First time I saw my Sylvari dance, I laughed so hard. I was in Skype with a friend and he thought I was dying because I eventually reached the point where I stopped breathing and making noise.

I love the dance – it’s vibrant and has a sense of primal freedom in its movement! It’s exactly like the Sylvari!

There’s a YouTube video showing what each race’s dance is. Sylvari is an Indian bali (sp?) dance.

The Sylvari dance is my hands-down favorite. I hope they don’t change a thing!!

I picked up on the Bollywood feel when I first saw the Sylvari dance. I like it, personally.

The sylvari dance is the best in game. No other race can match my fabulous swagger when I bust out dem moves.

I detest Charr too. Disgustlingly big and so trollish when
you see a Charr thief. If Tyra existed, you’d feel a minor windblast
everytime a Charr went stealth.

I also recently found the dance Emote, I happen to love it. It’s fun watching her dance around before killing a big bad dragon lol.

I would have preferred the Sylvari dance to be a bit more like the female Ritualist from GW1 (slow, sinuous, like tree branches swaying in the wind), but it’s fine as it is.
