I read this from wiki. but every sylvari knows Trahearne. and his full name is Marshal Trahearne….how to explain his name?

Sylvari don’t naturally have surnames, but NOTHING at all is stopping them from choosing one themselves.

It’s simply be more like a ‘title’ then an actual family name.

‘’Scarlet Briar’’ she was originally called Ceara, but she chose a new name.

That and as sylvari, you don’t have much tradition to follow. Blaze your own path. If your sylvari decides his name is John Smith then that’s what it is.

The firstborn don’t need two names because they are unique. Other Sylvari probably use multiple names to avoid confusion.
