Hey all, I was just wandering around at night and the idea of having the Sylvari racial armor glow popped into my head. I come to the forums, and lo and behold, it does! Or… should. I have the T1 light armor (Snapdragon) on a Sylvari female – I LOVE how it looks, and it shows a lot of the body glow… should the armor have glow too? Is it a graphical glitch? Or does this armor just not glow? If not, I would REALLY love a little glow on it.
Edit: I’ve found video of T2 light armor glowing… now I REALLY wish the T1 light armor glowed (with the same color as the character, that would be nice). I like the T1 much better than the others.

Unfortunately I do not have an answer. Can only say that if it does not glow… at least with light armor you can still show some body glow. I am quite sad that as a ranger using medium armor, getting an armorset that lets me show some of that bodyglow is looking rather impossible.

my sylvari t1 heavy armor glows, but really only on the coat. It is beautiful. It glows a different color for me, since I can set it. My body glow is blurple and my armor has lemon pastel glow. My skin color blends in to the armor as a “4th” color on t1 and doesnt seem to do that on t2 or t3 in the previews.

And what T1 armor is this? Heavy? I’ve seen it on the heavy armor before, that’s really the only place I’ve seen it here on the forums. And thanks for the input

it doesn’t glow. the glow you see is from your body.

T3 heavy armor has an amazing glow. T2 light glows I know for sure. So far what I’ve noticed from medium armor is that only T3 glows from what I have read on other forums. I just got T2 medium for my thief hoping it would glow and absolutely nothing. :’(

T2 light doesn’t glow, at least the male armor doesn’t. I’m pretty sure, too, my Sylvari wore it for a long time. It’s just that you can see a great part of your skin, which is glowing of course.

Now, my Sylvari is wearing a mixture of T2 light and T3 light and still, nothing is glowing

In the “Screens of your Sylvari” thread you can see screens of my Sylvari (on the last page, 3 days ago). His skin is glowing so beautiful, but the armor… not a little bit.
Saw your post too, you should have taken the screens by night, now I’m curios xD

I’ll try to get some night pictures but I got tired of waiting for the time to change haha. Yes I know!! I know TA dungeon light armor for females glows too.
