the sylvari running animation looks decent from the side, but it looks just so weird from behind, if more people think that way about it we could make a suggestion to let it be changed to something better. (in case my grammer is not 100% correct, english is not my main language.)

yea the flying weapons are also not pleasant to look at.

I dunno, I like it in it’s slightly flaily glory, and it’s one of the few emotes we have that isn’t just a copy of the human’s. I do wish the male Sylvari didn’t skulk around like thugs when you walk with your weapons drawn, though.

the way they run with weapons is the only kitten thing they have left, i only run with weapons personally:P. i think the human run looks better but since im lvl 80 sylvari i can only try to get more people to change it.

Not run with weapons, walk with them—I believe the weapon-drawn run is largely the same as the human male weapon-drawn run (Our walk is different but even I think it looks ridiculous), which is kind of back to what I said about not wanting to just be a complete mimic of everything the human does. We’re Sylvari, and if the Norn can be given largely unique expression despite their human-like appearance, idk why we really weren’t aside from running out of time.

I like the sylvari run. Especially in comparison to the human run. Human run seems too… boxy to me. While the sylvari run seems child like/endearing, which I think goes well with their curious and naive nature.

I love their running animation, don’t change it!

I am talking about the male run animation, with the the male run animation from behind it looks like he is not even actually moving his body. He moves arm in front of his body so t kinda looks like he misses an arm. The female running animation is awesome tho and i think males should also run abit more awesome

im also starting to like the run abit more, but the only thing i hate is that while running things like shoulders of leather armor start to fly and ur weapons are flying next to u. id like to see those things fixed

x 2. Don’t change the female Sylvari running animation, please! She just looks like she’s half-skipping out of excitement at being able to run around in the wide world.

I never had an issue with sylvari running :o and i played it since the 3rd beta. I like the sylvari animations, dont change

I wish there were Night Elves instead of Sylvari, this may seem stupid but it really bumps me down there are no elves
