If they are anything like the TEQ spawned champs…. they don’t drop loot. Farm at your own risk.

They will probably be non-loot mobs just like Teq and Jormag.

Helped to kill a few champs got no loot. Teq failed and still no loot (chest) for what I killed; teq failed with more that 95% health. Nope can’t see players coming there for farming that they can do easier and quicker in queensdale or frostforge.

Champ dont drop loot in boss events so no1 will bother farming it

I got a backpack bag from a champ out of a portal in queensdale

The champs drop loot in SB event btw

So much this… it’s Anet’s new Panacea.

(and the main reason I don’t do Jormag anymore)

…even if it’s not today, they’ll take “Metrics” on how many people are just farming the champs and then give it the Jormag treatment later… (THEY’RE TESTING YOU)

I thought this exact same thing when I read the patch notes. I also thought I need to get off work so I can go join the FARM!

If they make sure Champs during World Events don’t drop loots, all will be well. Well, not completely, but a step in the right direction.

The champs do drop loot at SB, but he was dead in 3min and only 1 champ spawned. No problem here.

Or have a system that counts the number of champs you kill and have the Win Scenario give you the number of bags at the end.
