A thought occurred to me that anyone who possibly did “Easy” Teq at any point after the rollover from the daily last night is probably screwed in getting any loot from Tequatl after the patch goes live.

Or at least, this is my worry. And I’m sure there’s gonna be quite a number of players who have done so.

Any confirmation if this will be the case? I’m not going to waste my entire day waiting, lagging and overflowing for a boss I’m not going to get anything for.

At BP right now Teq is up and there are lots of player afk and not afk waiting, but very little to none is fighting for the fear that we will not get rewarded for the new teq fight.

I feel ya man.

Amn, if the server timer is correct. Reset is in roughly 8 hours as of this post. The hero tab seems to be so.
AFAIK, it resets every 8pm EST.

So, yeah, I’m a bit concerned.

Yes, reset is in 8 hours. The patch will most likely go live within the next 3 hours or so. I mean, yeah you may potentially miss a daily reward for today, but just a few hours later you’re ok.

But, what happens after the patch and the first couple runs on Teq fail? Crazy talk, I know. Just don’t want to count your eggs before they hatch.

Tequatl’s chest is not on a daily timer like other dragon chests. You can go there and loot it every time, which kind of makes me wonder how much you could exploit that by using guesting. The other chest however, the one that is part of the UI, is still an account daily and offers a higher drop rate compared to the other.

As far as i’m aware the bulk of the reward is not daily, but instead unlimited… only the 1 small daily chest is daily.
