Finally - a REAL Dragon!
You won’t reach 100 tries. Ppl will abandon him after failing it for 10th time with 80 copper reward. That’s realistic.
He’s a minion of Zhaitan, and Zhaitan goes down like a chump. How’s that for story consistency?
Seems like another event that will be abandoned after some time.

That’s clever plan on ANet’s side. Less ppl attempting teq = less good drops = less gold = hope for more gem purchases = some ppl fall for it = profit for ANet.

Out of the 24 US servers, only 5 servers have Karka queen CD’s more than 100 hours.
It’s hardly abandoned.

Almost as clever as their previous plan, the QP/Invasions → more gold → inflation → rising gold/gem ratio → more people use $ to buy gems → profit for Anet.

The most profitable activity in the game is the easiest and most mindless activity, so no that theory is bunk lol.
I agree with the Op
I loved this fight, it was so nice to see old Tequila wiping the floor with people.
It was nice seeing people trying to coordinate in map chat rather than auto attack for a couple of minutes afk.
I had great fun even though we failed
Go Dragon!

Maybe I am but don’t you see the pattern? One patch gives us a carrot in the shape of more/better loot, then next patch takes it away somewhere else. It’s not the first time.
