Which servers are still trying? I’d like to quest to a server that’s still actively trying since once my server killed her, they not grouping anymore for the attack

yea… I keep getting ginto the “main” servers that only have about 30 people, whereas the overflow has maxed out space. wtf is up with that? Why can’t the overflow kick people back into the main when it’s empty? I get it that people/guilds/whatever love it because they feel that they get their own “private” server, but it screws the rest of us casual players that can’t sit our character hours on end. I’m one of those stubborn players that must complete EVERYTHING and I just can’t get into a decent group at all.

HoD is still trying. We start heavy into it around daily reset.

We need to get a bunch of guests on one server to get a huge serious effort for this.

The hardcore players on most servers number in the few dozens, and all the casual players probably have stopped trying by now.

There needs to be a host server and we should set a date and time that everyone plans to get on and do a serious attempt

Dragonbrand seems to be doing well. Since our first kill (I think it was on Saturday the week of release) we’ve been killing him once or twice each evening. Sadly most of those kills are just before I get off work…

Because overflows are cross-server and not server specific. So, you have EU overflows, and US overflows, but not, for example, a Blackgate overflow or Desolation one. If you have 30 people on main, and a full overflow, then likely people on that overflow come from other servers. Servers that are capped.

What was that instance where players intentionally tried to be in overflow so they could get a group? This seems like the same thing.

Some groups like the guild I’m in try to find almost empty overflows to avoid all the AFKers and the random know it alls that like to populate some overflows/mains. Also it’s easier to get the full guild in there since you don’t have to guest to get on overflows

My overflow server has gotten him down to 88%

HoD got Teq down to about 55% tonight. We’ll try again Wednesday.

SF hasn’t given up. It’s just been tough getting the folks who have been active in the organized runs together this week due to scheduling conflicts. In the interim, I’m suggesting that any SF folks out there who plan to join our server’s attempts to do some runs with one of the cross-server Teq guilds to familiarize themselves with the mechanics and tactics. It’ll make our own future attempts to take down Teq much smoother.

I’m hoping that anyone who joins us on our SF attempts will get some experience with the overflow groups so they know what to expect. Our past attempts have typically fallen short because the majority didn’t know what to do.

We have a good number of folks who have been working with these overflow groups to get some experience under their belts and are bringing their experience and tactics back to SF so we too can slay this big bad dragon.

Everything seemed to be working last night on our second attempt, except to stupid turrets kept malfunctioning. Mine stopped working twice, and it took 30 seconds to get it working again each time. Got on and off the turret multiple times to no avail. This happened to several of us at the various points in the fight.

Drakkar Lake (GER) did it. IN UNDERWEAR! xD
