Q:

Why is the Livestream three days after the release?
Normally Livestreams are set up as teasers/instruction manuals, and as such, are generally placed the day before or day of, so placing one three days after doesn’t really make sense. I mean, whats the point of even having one then, as most players who are interested would jump on the very day of. Which, at that point, reveals anything that would have otherwise been presented in the livestream. Well, its no big deal, just weird.

A:

Because they had some major technical issues yesterday and are preparing to launch the update today. And then doing the standard bug fixing tomorrow.

In fairly certain that they’ll have their hands full for the next few days.

They’ve already previewed the updated Tequatl encounter, so there’s really no point in doing it again. I doubt they could even field enough people to show it off on the dev servers without cheating. They’ll probably preview whatever story is going to come along with it, rather than focusing on the mechanics.

Haha, if so I can see we’re going to have a lot of fun with this update…
