Q:
Lore: Tequal new forces...
Speculation so far, nothing that we know. Personally, I don’t believe other Elder Dragons can take over another Elder Dragon’s minions/champions naturally, even if they’ve been defeated. Most likely is Zhaitan’s renmant magic somehow having influence on his lefotover minions.
There was thread discussing this in the lore forums recently.
Wait.. is there seriously another Dragon named Bubbles?

Well that makes more sense.
Bubbles isn’t the best Tyrian name

Why would this not be a retcon for gameplay sake? Hes always been thus strong from a character perspective.
Can’t help but wonder if Tequatl and the other baddies of Tyria have been snacking on Shards of Zhaitan.
Henge of Denravi
He’s a dragon lieutenant he’s not supposed to be a push over like he is now. What he is now is basically a mockery. There are risen giants harder then he is.
On the case with bubbles. No the dragon’s are not friends.

Creatures that have the influence of a dragon cant suffer the influence of another dragon…
Think…..Glint (predecessor to The Shatterer)
Dragon Lieutenants are meant to server their respective Elder Dragon, but it’s not always the case. They seem to have much more free-roaming control over themselves and the minions that they help create. In Glint’s case it was a magical spell that brokered her freedom, but it can be assumed that the fall/death of an Elder Dragon [Zhaitan] could have the same effect.
There’s much power in a Lieutenant, roughly 2/3rd that of an Elder is my guess (based on them having intense magic, control&create minions, and general destructive power). So with Zhaitan officially out of the picture [for now], his Lieutenant is able to step in in the consumption of power, control of the undead, and the spread of evil across the Sea of Sorrows.
Glint’s dead body is what’s used by the Zephyrites to keep the Zephrym Sanctum afloat in the skies above Tyria. That’s just the dead body crystals of a Lieutenant to give you an idea of what power they hold.

That is not actually correct.

Creatures that have the influence of a dragon cant suffer the influence of another dragon…
Wrong. Crucible of Eternity proves otherwise.
I don’t get why people believe that dragon minions are immune to other dragons’ corruption when we see three examples proving such a notion wrong, one of which being the infamous Subject Alpha.
@Siphead: Glint broke free of Kralkatorrik’s influence through a powerful spell discoveredby the Forgotten. Without that outside influence, she would have remained a fanatical servant like all other dragon minions, champions or otherwise.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

People get the belief based on twofold. First there’s the lost history related to the Elder Dragons’ previous appearances and how they fight against each other for territorial control of Tyria. And the second is the theory related to The Pale Tree being an Elder Dragon with the Slyvari being minions; based on how there’s no Sylvari minions under any Elder Dragon itself, it’s theorized that Elder Dragons cannot effect other Dragon’s minions.
As for your direction to me, reread my post again please. I did mention that Glint was freed via a spell, but postulated that an Elder Dragon’s fall/death could in essence be a “spell break” that would free a Lieutenant from servitude.
