Arena Net, love the update. Love the challenges. However, just yesterday I did Megadestroyer with the new failure timer and and the 8 manish group we had running him was only seconds away from him blowing us all up. Great down to the minute race, that was fun and exciting for me, but when I saw my consolation for what was something like a 12-15 minute battle… I get change? Something like 80 copper.

My intention is not to complain tho I guess that’s what it is, and I know it’s been mentioned already within other topics, but please reward our time. Something better than 80 copper, even Teq in all his new found glory gives us change. I get that we shouldn’t get impressive rewards for failing an event but 80 copper I can get off grinding wolves in Diessa in less time.

Maybe something like T6 mats?? One could imagine that we could have at least chipped off a few Ancient Bones or Armored Scales off Teq before he gets bored with us and leaves right? I would be happy with even just one T6 mat. Apologies as this more like a suggestion. Thanks and I do love the update!

Would love some T6’s but honestly it isn’t enough for the long term.

My only complaint is that a player has a chance to get only blues (except the rare from the 3rd dragon chest and a green from 2nd chest) for defeating Tequatl. The fight itself isn’t long, but organizing it, coordinating people and providing even consumables for those who don’t have them is not worth the blues. True enough, it is great and the fight’s amazing when you get your own coordinated players mobilized, but this feeling will go away eventually and for blues…yah..no. At least give us greens. Blues are insulting.

When SOR defeated tequatl for the first time, it was very exciting, I personally have been out there since the new tequatl update commenced (not at all of them) but I’ve been to at least 8-10 dragon fights before finally winning. What do I get? 2 blues and 3-4 greens with 1 rare from a “bonus” chest. It’s quite sad honestly…all that time for that. If I wanted blues and greens i’d kill regular mobs -_- I like the new tequatl update it’s VERY FUN, but the reward is horrible…very horrible.

My server has yet to get past 50%, it is sad to hear this that even when we do there won’t much of a “Hey congrats for completing here’s something nice and shiny”. Instead, it’s a “Hey congrats, here’s something for your time that you could very easily have gotten by killing wolves or worms or something”.
