I was there. That was intense. Easily the best moment in my MMO career.

The great thing was we were unprepared. Many of us were AFK because we didn’t expect Teq to spawn @ 1 hour. And it was a bunch of pugs, not massive guilds. But we were all coordinated

That was awesome, everyone! I can’t believe that we started with 2 turret users AFK, and that we finished with the timer reading 0:00. Absolutely incredible!

Seriously, the loot NEEDS to be better though. Bunch of greens and blues + one Rare coat? That’s a joke, easier things drop way better stuff.

yea but i guess beating it is reward enough.. yes and no. I got my title tonight so thats awesome, until everyone has it.

Yeah the loot was pretty crappy and not on par with the amount of time and effort needed to defeat tequatl. I got a bunch of blues and greens I could’ve farmed in literally 30 seconds off any mobs on any map and 1 rare from a “bonus” chest. what a joke.

SoR, you did an AMAZING job tonight!

We got caught with our pants down and STILL managed to take Tequatl down!

He spawned 45 minutes into his regular 90 minute window and we were NOT ready. But we banded together and gave it every ounce of power we had, and we won!

Incredible job by everyone that was here tonight! Looking forward to completing quite a few more of these with you guys (hopefully not again while we’re all afk at the time of the spawn) – Community building at it’s finest.

I do agree with the state of the loot…aside from the potential rare drop you only ever get one yellow, and out off all the people that beat it in SoR, only one person got the mini…(as far as my knowledge goes)

The rewards should be equal to Karka Queens. Other than that it’s fine. You guys do realize, especially SoR folks, that we’ll be farming this boss daily as we do Karka Queen once things get settled down and it’s less pug/more organization. If the rewards are too extreme, it messes up the economy. We plan on completing this event daily and we will. Now we just wait for the next boss to be updated. Hopefully it’s Shatterer.

I must say…Congrats to our server…but im kitten ed! Many attempts and hours between spawn ive waited, and bumps to overflow forced parties to Fail and 80+ vent parties to bring him to 50% …then to take one day to rest and find out I missed the party that dropped him…. Sigh Moments like this is why I take more time away from this game and start to play around more in Real World! now that I think….After calculating the hours ive spent playing this game according to /age..and reward ive gained.(practically worthless)….ive spent close to the same amount of time earning my blue belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and on the Mats ! Thank you Sunless…I think you have made me realize there is more to life than hours spent being frustrated with this game! Purple belt here I come…GW2 Delete. It was a good run all, This was the last straw
