I was just looking for the best way to maximize damages on Teq and i couldn’t find any proof that Undead Potions/Undead Sigils work on him as he is a structure more than a monster.
I don’t say that those are not good atleast on defenders who fight mobs most of the time.
An Anet answer would clarifiy it much easily btw :P.
Your suspicions are spot on. The undead potions are great for people defending turrets and batteries etc but the +/- %10 does nothing to Tequatl’s Fingers or Tequatl him/herself.

Your best bet is to run Power/Toughness/Vitality gear (Invaders from WvW) and maximise power through Sharpening Stones. Hope that helps.
So you state that this has no effect on Tequatl ? Have you tried yet ?
It doesnt have an effect on the boss or fingers
