I find it rather strange, but Teq seems to have respawned to his original timer from the 1h30 window he used to be during boss week. It’s kind of confusing, since new patch hasn’t been released yet.

Could anyone confirm or/and post an accurate timer window, please?

It’s been 30 minutes after reset, there’s no more fish head, no patch downloaded… Don’t know what’s going on here

Yes, no patch, but daily missing and Teq’s about an hour late and nowhere to be seen.

I rarely do so, but Anet, that’s one stupid idea. Tough as he was to beat up untill now, I want to see the 100+ people mandatorily required to beat this event to show up all geared up and organized in a moment’s notice randomly throughout the day.

Tequatl broke!!

This is just silly they should just tell us the timer or do something cause nobody likes to wait around for a dragon with bad rewards :\ let alone the fact that you have to organize for it

Seems like it has been MUCH longer. Why is there so little transparency from game companies when it comes to stuff like this?

Well, this is boring. it’s like old school MMOs all over again, except we aren’t waiting to tag a mob… progress! They really need to have more player involvement in initiating these events.

We’re all here ready to go for teq on CD. He’s still an hour late so far…

Tequatl’s original timer has about an hour left. It’s going to really suck if it’s back to a 2-3hr respawn.

4 TTS Overflows – the fourth filled around 5 server – and all are waiting. I’ve been in the second Overflow since around 4:10 server.

It sure would be nice if all this communication we always hear is so important actually happened!

*Edited to add, this is a reasonably difficult fight, almost impossible without some organization – with a time limit to boot that is very unforgiving! Why is it on a random timer at all!?

Well, sure it would be appreciated if they informed us about the respawn timer change, if that is what happened.

This is one of the first times I’ve seriously had to seriously reconsider the amount of time Guildwars merits playing.

Might be 2hrs 30 mins now but god knows what anet did, some post from a dev would be nice to know what the new respawn timer is.

been sitting here on overflow wating for tea since 5:00Pm server time it is now 6:15PM so if you guys have reverted the timer back a update would be appreciated.

Yaks never has been the best at organizing. Figures that one of the few times the server gets organized this happens. What gives Anet?

Getting a bit ridiculous actually! Got dc’d twice and been waiting since 4:30 server time…

He drowned after consuming too many overflow AFKers. Good, I hope he stays there.

I liked that players took the initiative to form guilds that organise on overflows to take him down. It was bad enough that you had to get into an overflow up to an hour in advance of his spawning to play with those guilds, unreliable spawn windows is only going to result in more waiting around.

I hope this is a bug. This content was already difficult to complete because of the organisation required. Unreliable spawn windows aren’t helping.

Lame. Join an overflow to fight Tequatl 3 HOURS before I have to go to work. Work is now 20 minutes away. This is stupid.

The window is basically the same. Now there’s just a ~2h cooldown in between those windows. Getting on the main server will now be much more time consuming and failure will be that much worse.

The spawn timer is wayy too long considering the reward and organization needed

Spawn is either broken or forcibly taken down – it has been at least about 9 hours since Tequatl’s last spawn and he hasn’t appeared on Devona’s Rest since.

Anet, seriously. You’ve wasted a lot of time to lot of your players, who ended up standing in Sparkfly, staring at their screen and waiting for nothing to happen. Generally, people (especially those of us bound by work and real-life duties) hate when their time gets wasted. Please, do not kitten your players off next time. Get a good guy who’ll stalk the forums and actually TALK to people, your PR and community relation skills are leaving a lot to be desired.

Coming from a patient person who’s usually defending you against other players’ rambling, I suppose that is saying something.

How do you propose they find out about this bug? and then tell us? if its currently 4am there and most likely have been home asleep for at least 4-6 hours?

Hm .. how often does Scarlett Events start now ? Have the feeling its maybe something like 8 hours. Maybe Teq has now the same timer

Yeah, right, content that requires a lot of preparation time for organization happening randomly to not give people time to prepare. Good idea.
