When you say so and so server downed it, you mean a small portion of your server killed Teq. The rest got stuck in an overflow mixed with other servers with the event starting right away.

The timer should go, on an open world event where you can not control who does the event with you.

I’d love this event to be an instance where I can go with friends, and we have complete control of the outcome, if it fails it was because we didn’t do it right.

Not it fails because someone new to it grabbed a turret, or i got thrown into an overflow and 0 time to organize. I’ve done it well over 15 times and lowest I have seen is 55%. I do not think I am an amazing player, but I understand the mechanics completely and think it is an awesome fight. But as is I may never complete it.

I do not think an open world fight should require the majority of people on an outside program like Team Speak ( even if it is widely used in mmo world), or require a preorgan organised group guesting to a lower pop server to try and ensure they control the people in the event.

I completely agree with this, I have been in for 2 wins, but the other times I got stuck in overflow and had massive failures. Getting out of overflow requires you know someone who is already out and you just sit there and try to join that person for up to an hour before you finally get to the main server. (I am on Tarnished Coast)

This to most people is not something they can do… and I fear it is going to be like this until the “new” of the event wears off … and then it will almost never be done.

I can’t help but miss the server queues of old. Sure, you had to wait your turn but once that join button came up your spot was guaranteed. Here you can queue all day long and still not get a spot due to people joining and skipping the line. Something needs to be done about overflows.
