33% is way too much. After few fights you would see all players running with full Tequatl weapon sets. Still, I expect at least 10 champion loot bags for this. Otherwise this event will be dead in few weeks.

First server to beat it and give the info on drops..and if no one gets and ascended events dead. That’s all it will take.
BP → DR → FA → Mag → BP → FA
I am done with it, for now.
I expected it to be hard but not 5% in 15 min hard. I thought it would at least get to 50% on a fail. I will just wait a few weeks and see what happens. Otherwise its a waste of time and silver at the moment.

100% is too much although i would not complain. But at least 10 to 20% would be nice. We need something that will ,,repair" damage that ascended crafting is doing to game.

I can only think of them making bosses easier to date… not harder… and certainly not SIGNIFICANTLY harder.

Once people actually learn the encounter, and it becomes easier to do because of it, then everyone will be getting one of those weapons which will trivialize them to the ground.

the encounter as is will never be completed. but I’ll bet a 100g they’ll soon nerf him, i.e. his health to make it doable. while it’s a nice idea to expect people to coordinate, the average pve players will not be able to do that to the currently necessary extent. if they’d allow guilds to start a tequatl instance only for themselves it might be a different story.
The bigger problem to me is that we were led to believe these are exclusive ascended weapon skins. A more accurate description is exclusive colors of the only existing ascended weapon skin we already have.

Seems like a bad analogy to me. SAB for instance wasn’t this way, it actually got retro-actively nerfed. The last guantlet boss was unbeatable for a large number of people. Neither one of those got easier, and as a result, once achievements were gotten, no one did either one again.
As far as the instances/fratals that came out that everyone complained about… Those weren’t actually hard, but people felt they were. Many of us walked into those with a group of 5 known people and no issue. But this event prevents in essence any sort of coordination with known elements because of the open world nature.
