Guild Wars 2

So after guesting to TC for 16 hours yesterday with no kills (he was killed twice before I got onto main) and joining a Teq Kill Guild only to hop on in time for the last fight which was a lose (after them winning the previous 4 fights).. I’m really not having much luck. I have yet to defeat him and have done about 50 fails now.

I live in Melbourne Austraila and the time here is now around 6pm which is when most Aussies log on to play. There is no use trying to do Teq on my server (Sea of Sorrows which Teq is still undeated and forever will be – guilds have guested over and wont be coming back)..

What servers around this time of day/night have a chance of defeating Teq?
I just want to have one kill and get the achieve and never bother with it again. Any immersion I had in the game has now gone completely out the window.

The best server ive been on is JQ anywhere from 9pm to midnight (PST), only server ive got a kill on

Which is in 8.5 hours from now, when us Aussies are all asleep :/

Whats is the best server for say.. 9pm Aussie time when we are all online? ie any NA servers that usually down Teq around 2am server time?

Honestly, I think you only have a few options by this point.

1) Join an organized Teq killing guild, wait/pray/help to organize sufficient Oceanics/Asians to take him down on a regular basis at a timing more friendly to us.

2) Wait for the weekend and hope enough insomniac NA and EU are hooked on the fight to stay up and provide the necessary critical mass.

3) Set an alarm clock and develop your friends network on a high pop server. Schmooze your way into their main Sparkfly, preferably 1-2h before server reset because the zone might hard cap close to the time, and then do your best to join that server’s VOIP, listen to their commanders and be a valued contributor to the fight.

Healthy? Not really. I wish there was some way of calling Teq up under player control, it’ll put a stop to all this crazy camping and help organized efforts in scheduling a lot more.

We are massively growing and this is one of the questions we get a lot and one of the demands we are facing. However we have 8 leaders working together, to give the best opportunities to the Guild Wars 2 community. So again, we have some leaders working on opening the Oceanic section of our guild so you will have a prime time to join us and join in the raids!

I’d say try Ehmry Bay but at this time it is dead there. We get a ton of peeps at peek and it goes on till almost midnight central time here. A commander named Ronny Aldo loves to lead peeps to do it on our server. Just random peeps not in any guild just for Teq. Sadly not in the time frame you’d like though.

It would? I thought you said you needed a different time frame for it? Either way if the time does work for you just remember it may not happen on the first try but he has lead many pub groups to victory. Just have to willing to get on ts, keep the negative bits to yourself, and do as asked in a roll. I’ve seen him get many groups in shape and been in on three of the kills myself. Not perfect as it is a pug but if you have patience you can get it here with him.

Best bet is overflow guild, guilds designed to take over an overflow and organise etc…

Sea Of Sorrows apparently got its first Teq kill last night… I missed it :’(

You should probably get it done quickly before it’s too late.

I ended up joining a TTS guild and after a few fails with them finally got a kill with 5 mins left on the clock.
