Why are Krait siding with Risen?
Because they are risen, too. They kill whatever; They corrupt whatever. Then add that to the big militia of zombies (hell they even have Quaggan). Remember that the Risen presence is quite big all around the zones above Orr, and this zone is populated by krait. Nonetheless, they could not be siding with the Risen because they’ve actually fought them. There’s a storyline quest where you have to steal their magic orb-artifact that protects their waters from Zhaitan’s corruption.
The krait don’t want Tequatl to poop smelly fishheads all over their beach, that’s why they help him to clear out our beach to use as his toilet bowl.
We should be thankful that Tequatl’s ambitions don’t go any further than defecating on a remote beach in Sparkfly Fen. Imagine the damage he could do if he decided to actually attack and conquer inhabited areas. He should reconsider his dietary habits though. Dropping such a huge load every few hours, and taking 15 minutes to squeeze it out, that can’t be healthy.
I’ve noticed that during the Tequatl attack along with Risen there are some uncorrupted Kraits attacking turrets and batteries. Weren’t Risen enemies of every race of Tyria? Why are Krait attacking along with them?
There are risen Krait, which is probably what they meant to put there. It is likely just an oversight.
