Correct me if im wrong but i will have to grind Pristine Toxic Spore Samples and trade it to Marjory Delaqua to get the new healing skill ??

I have 6 lvl 80 … and what about the new toons i will make later ??

this skill should be an account unlock , not per character .. i see just another Anti-Alt method

ANET did already say that after this Living Story event that this will still be achievable to get.

Even if the event stay , your OK with the fact that i will need to this 6 Times ?

I bet others have more toons than me.

A dev said previously this new skill is permanent and with us forever.

Also, they seemed to indicate you could buy the new skill, like you buy skills now by using skill points…

Doing the LS just saves you skill points apparently…

Well i didn’t say i found it a reasonable price for a healing skill…. but yea its an other option

probably quicker to do it that way too. most of us proabaly have 25+ skill scrolls from champ trains in our banks.

ahhh .. so there is another way to get this skill .. then for 25 Skill pts you get it too

I am ok with that. I have 5 lvl 80 toons myself and have no problem with this. Plus with knowing I can just spend 25 SP to get this.. not a big deal at all. All 5 of my 80 toons are sitting on tons of unused SP.

Got it for 25skills,and considering how easy it is to get skill points it will be easy for 8+alts ;P

But it’s kind of ridiculous though. The healing is sub par and the condition that removes are limited to only 4 conditions (1 unique pollen).

250 spore samples AND 5g (to purchase).

I don’t really get why they tacked on 5 gold to the purchase cost. 250 spores would have been plenty as an introduction, and even then I’d still might go for paying the skill points rather than grinding up spores.

Now some people say that 25 skill points is worth way more than 5 gold, but right now I have so many skill points I don’t know what to do with them all.

I have like 150 skill points worth of those scroll things in my bank 25 skill points does not seem unreasonable.

what i dont get about antitoxing is the confusion removal. its basically again an anti condi mesmer thing! why not bleeding…oh thats right that would affect warriors and bleeding theives! so what does that leave the mesmers in wvw with? nothing thats right!

The healing might be pretty awesome in group content. Keep in mind that it’s AoE. That means you can get healed by it 5 times in dungeon or other party content, because each time other players use it, it’ll affect you as well, if you’re within range.

doesnt it heal allies as well ?

Okay, this skill doesn’t heals allies, at least not by its normal value. It’s either bugged, or the description is wrong. Apparently, from what I’ve read, it only cleanses allies and heals them for each condition cleansed, but it surely doesn’t heals them (I’ve tested the later on my elemental pet).

At the current state, it’s trash and not even worth a single skill point, imo.

There’s a very good possibility that the upcoming content will have PvE elements that will be heavy in the confusion boon. This will help with survivability.

Without this ability was there no defense for a condi mesmer?
