The first thing I saw when mapping to Kessex Hills was the centaurs attacking Fort Salma. Why is this the first thing I see Anet? Are the centaurs completely oblivious to the giant tower tree invading their lands? Don’t they notice anything of the poison in the air? Why is it that the centaurs are not concerned about the toxic alliance invading their homelands, but they do anything to stop the humans? Did someone miss the bigger picture here and just pasted the new content on Kessex Hills, with no regard for the already present content there?

What I would have expected is for the humans and centaurs to form a temporary and fragile alliance to stop the bigger threat, aka the toxic alliance. After which they go back to the old ways and cut each other’s throat.

By all rights the centaurs should be extinct by now, not allied with the pact/lionguard/heroes/humans.

By this point in the story, the centaurs are supposed to be more or less defeated with the loss of their leader Ulgoth. Of course, that part doesn’t change due to the heart quests, new players, etc, so the old stuff still has to stay for now.

Still, it’s a valid point. I think even the centaurs would be like “We’re not having any of this,” and at least make their own efforts against the tower’s forces.
