"Much more insidious enemy"
I think that’s refering to her new creation. At the end of the Molten Facility there was the fusion of dredge technology and flame legion magic, at the end of the Aether path there was the fusion of engineering and the oakheart. I think Scarlet’s agents refers to the krait, Nightmare Court and the clockwork horrors and the more insidious enemy is her latest brilliant creation that cleverly and unexpectedly fuses something about the krait with something about the sylvari.

Oh lord… please no!
Merciful Grenth, the overwhelming lack of a feeling of dread is almost petrifying!

It’ll be a new Alliance we don’t currently know exists.
Am Fah +Tengu or something. The… Windy plague alliance?
Certainly feels legit.
Toxin Hybrid, the thing standing behind her in the concept art.
Seen the release page banner/splash image?
From left to right; Aetherblades, Twisted Nightmares, Scarlet with a Champion Toxic Husk(?) behind her, Mechataur and another Aetherblade?
Don’t even see the Krait here anymore… but this one’s got Scarlet and her Toxic Alliance|Molten Alliance|Twisted/Clockwork Alliance written all over it.
I just hope the Tower of Nightmare could be an open world zone.

It’s pretty much going to be a random pool of enemies / bosses (which is cool) and an achievement will be about encountering every single types of these enemies / bosses (which can be cool, depending on what the dungeon is like).
It better be permanent, after so many good choices of what should stay as permanent lately.

I don’t think that’s a Mechataur. Look at the glowy blue eye and the hands (which look like cylindrical drills)— I think it’s the same kind of creature as the Molten Berserker.
What people don’t realize is the insidious enemy is the child of Scarlet and Trahearne.
FLEE, FLEE TO THE HILLS!

Don’t worry, Rytlock and Jenna (or Logan)’s child will save us!

Good thing Sylvari can’t breed.
Will you find yourself face-to-face with Scarlet’s agents, or a much more insidious enemy?
Curiosity rising…
Fingers crossed its Mordremoth
It’s not.
It’s clear that Zhaitan is the only Elder Dragon. Kralkatorrik and Jormag and Primordius are all cleverly-crafted ruses of the Tyrian Illuminati, to keep the populace in fear of their own shadows until their nanoaugmentation projects can be completed. Come now, if they really existed, wouldn’t they be doing something?
There is no logic, there is no lore, there is only SCAAARLEEETTTTTT.
Is it just me or does Scarlet look….human.

Would they jump the shark if the writers gave Scarlet the ability to breed? Maybe she uses her engineering powers to become her own Pale Tree.

I’m pretty sure that Sylvari can’t reproduce.
Of course that didn’t seem to stop the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.

FLEE, FLEE TO THE HILLS!
No, no no no.
The creature behind Scarlet is just Trahearne naked.
