New condition: Toxin!
I think we will only be seeing this new condition in this LS. In gw1 there were PvE only skills so the universal heal will probably be only useful for the LS.
Necromancy is a way of life :).
For now it seems like it’s an NPC condition. Much like Agony and the karka hatchling ones.
We’ll see.
But if it was a new condition like torment, I bet thieves, necromancers and engineers would get it.

That’s only in PvP (and most likely smaller WvW fights) in PvE (including dungeons and fractals) they’re very lackluster and need some buffs.
Universal healing skill?
Cures you and all nearby allies of several critical conditions?Anyone else see the forming of the trinity here? Someone will have to carry this healing skill in groups, being the “healer” so to speak.
Not saying this is a bad thing, I think GW2 could seriously benefit from a trinity, but it’s funny that they sell the game on having no trinity, then start slowly working it in later because it allows for more interesting fights.
I’m torn with the idea of a trinity. I’m sick of the lack of roles, and I wouldn’t mind a trinity. On the other hand, it would severely annoy everyone who doesn’t like the trinity.
I hope the skill will be PvE only and Toxin will be NPC only.
I think this needs to be the case with future difficulty hikes to keep PvE a bit fresher and not such a faceroll.
in GW1 there is a condition called Disease, available to Necro, and affect only fleshy object….
not sure it is not implemented in this game……

Toxin: Reduces target’s heals by 33%, deals damage, stacks intensity
That would pretty much be poison 2.0
I wouldn’t scoff at seeing disease return, however with the lack of regen/degen modifiers in GW2 disease would have to fill some other niche than just damage. Maybe a condition that does nothing but spread, but each tick adds a stack of poison, cripple, or blind at random or something.
