So… boring events, nice looks, weird and boring story… what’s the purpose of this patch?

Its an introduction for the whole story arc, just like the first update in the Flame and Frost story arc didn’t give you anything to do other than fixing signs.

Flame and Frost didn’t get any better after that, I have my doubts about this as well.

What game have you been playing? It improved a lot over the course of the story, and then the end-story dungeon to F&F wound up being one of the most popular additions we have had since launch.

molten facility was on of my favorite releases of the entire LS. and this looks to be heading the same direction……i hope.

F&F was done well, perhaps a little too slow to get things started but it developed, giving you hints and questions and most of those questions were answered. Also the way the flame legion and dredge did not get along was a nice touch, believable and stuck to the lore of GW, the hint of another force behind the alliance was nice as well (still not sure if it was scarlet – because they never actually said it was)

But this latest patch!? sigh. seeing the krait and the nightmare court fighting side by side just feels wrong. But as per usual the art team have done a fantastic job, the area looks great. The new group events, the introductory quest are all done well… it’s just the big slap in the face to lore, and that stupid villain scarlet that dampens the whole patch.

I hoping scarlet has tricked the Krait, and in the end they hate her with a passion.

Maybe not the dungeon itself but everything else before that was terrible.

As always there is nothing wrong with the looks of it, their map designers are pretty good. But it’s exactly the same as previous LS. Group goes to certain point of interest on the map and hits the kitten out of something and move on.

Yes guys, no activitiers, no progress. Was that really neccessary after announcing it s o hard? It didn’ even keep me bisy for more than 3hours. That’s sad. So much efforts in design but no content

They could however, been a little more original. I mean really…

Dredge+Flame Legion= Molten Alliance
Krait+Nightmare Court= Toxic Alliance

I can only predict the next alliance to be Savnir+Polar Bears= Chilly Alliance, and we might see how the kodan are created?

This is only the introduction. A build up. But I’m not saying you should get your hopes up.

But it’s a decent patch IMO. And forced cutscenes when entering the zone to introduce new juice in the LS arc is a nice touch for an easier way of orienting players and filling out important details about what is happening. Thumbs up!
