So many people are still carrying around these story Trophy items.

We ask if they will have a future use, we get no response.

Can you PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE just type a quick response to say “yes you should throw these out” or “no you shouldn’t throw these out” so we can rid ourselves of them without worry? You can copy and paste one of those so it will take even less time.

In the future, how about when we complete the meta event, we talk to someone who will take these items off our hands in exchange for the reward.

I hate to be so insistant but requests like these are so easy to answer but so rarely do. It’s such an easy way to make a lot of people glad.

I’m probably going to hang onto the Relay Golem, because it’s cute, but I usually chuck everything else as long as it’s no longer usable. If they want to reintroduce its mechanic, I’ll just get another one.

If the Obelisk Shard transcription achievement goes away with tomorrow’s update, for example, I’m tossing it. As soon as Halloween goes, I’d be tossing the golem if it didn’t summon a fun little golem. I always hang onto them for the duration of the related release, though, just to be safe.

I’m pretty sure they have better things to do on their tight schedules than to make sure they add messages or NPCs that rid you of the items.

While it may be annoying to some, you can always get a new item from the related story NPC. So trashing them has no irreversible consequences. And if you feel there’s no use for the item anymore, just trash it. If it will be important again in the future, an NPC will hand it back to you.

They read every topic, and have time to reply to the thank you topics. So they have time to just select, copy, paste, click.

So little effort to make people happy, yet none is taken. I would dislike a person IRL for doing that.

Of the stuff mentioned by OP I only have the golem. Deleted other stuff. Cause it seems useless now. (And if they make future releases they give you different stuff cause it would be unfair if only people with the old stuff could play it).

Golem only cause it spawns and says stuff each time. So it still does something. (But haven’t checked now that Halloween achievements are removed – if it does nothing now then I’ll delete it as well)

When I activated my leftover golem yesterday, it disappeared!
So, at least that one item resolved itself.

Nice, more of that would be great.
