Back when I was doing the Nightmare Unveiled instance, i noticed a Toxic Knight (iirc) leapt through the bubble formed by a Toxic Krait (the one that reflects your projectile and causes Confusion) and the the Knight got his Chaos Armor.

In short, this is the very first time I noticed PvE mob doing a combo.

My question: is this a new thing got added this patch? or it has been around for long, i just didn’t notice at all.

Nevertheless, I really like this feature.

It’s been around for quite a while. The Risen Pirates in Cursed Shore do it all the time. It has been like that since at least February.

As far as I know, they always could. It only is rare for NPC to have both a combo field and a finisher.

hopefully arenet net allows more mobs to combo and give them more abilities, so they will be at least up to par of those npcs in the heart of the mists, killable but deadly and require a bit of skill and thinking

You probably just never noticed it before because chaos armor is very visually obvious, while a stack of might for instance isn’t.
